Steps
A fine line of pigment is applied between your lashes to give the effect of thicker lashes and a defined eye.
CONSULTATION
At BROWZ, we believe communication is key. Before we begin, we’ll discuss your expectations and answer all your questions and concerns. This is the perfect time to express your wishes and talk about the look you want to achieve.
PATCH TEST
Before the actual procedure, we’ll perform a patch test using the products that will be applied during the treatment to ensure there is no allergic reaction. If there’s no reaction within 48 hours, we proceed.
FORMS & PHOTOS
You’ll be required to sign a few forms, including a medical history form to ascertain your eligibility, a consent form, and a photography release form, allowing us to use photos of the work for professional purposes. A ‘before’ photo will also be taken at this stage.
PREPARATION
We carefully prepare the equipment and workspace for your procedure. Protective covers are placed, and your eye area is sanitized to remove residues. This helps in maintaining a hygienic and streamlined process.
NUMBING
To ensure a comfortable experience, a numbing cream is applied to the eyelids and allowed to sit for about 20-30 minutes. We use advanced techniques to maximize the effect of the anesthetic, making the process absolutely pain-free.
MAPPING
Our artist outlines the semi permanent eyeliner, defining the look according to your preference. Some artists may do the mapping first and then the numbing to ensure the anesthetic effects don’t wear off.
PIGMENT MIXING
We prepare the custom-mixed pigment, keeping in mind the optimal shade for your skin tone and undertone. Even subtle shades are mixed with precision to ensure the best fading possible.
FIRST PASS
The outlining begins with a gentle, pendulum-like motion of the machine over your eyelids. If any discomfort is felt, the numbing step is repeated. You’re required to keep your eyes closed throughout.
SECOND NUMBING
Post the first pass, a secondary, more intense numbing formula is applied to alleviate any sensation before the second pass, making it more comfortable.
SECOND PASS
The artist goes over the pigmented area again to ensure uniformity. Some swelling might occur at this stage, but it’s normal and temporary.
CLEANING & REVEAL
Once the outlining is over, the artist cleans the area, and you get to see your semi permanent eyeliner! It is sure to be a lively moment, revealing the beautiful, enduring result of meticulous artwork.

FAQs
It is best to wait 4 to 8 weeks for complete tissue healing and color stabilization before you make your first touch up appointment.
Your eyes should generally heal within 3 to 7 days post this treatment; however, with a thicker eyeliner application, it may take 7 to 10 days.
No make-up is to be applied on the area to allow time for your eyes to heal.
Yes you can; however, avoid water near your eyes as it may cause the pigment to fade faster than usual.
Swelling typically occurs in the first 24-48 HRS after this treatment and will decrease overtime. Your therapist will advise you on the steps to take to minimize this.
After Care
- Keep the area dry and avoid getting water on your eyeliner for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
- Avoid using any makeup on the treated area for at least 7 days after the treatment.
- Avoid rubbing, scratching or picking at the treated area to prevent scarring and infection.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or tanning beds for at least 7 days after the treatment.
- Do not use any oil-based products or creams around the treated area for at 7 days after the treatment.
- Avoid swimming, saunas, or hot tubs for at least one week after the treatment.
- Use a clean cotton swab to gently remove any excess fluid that may appear on the treated area.
- Ensure to attend any follow-up appointments with your therapist to ensure the best results and to address any concerns or questions that you may have.
- If you experience any unusual discomfort, redness, swelling or discharge, contact the clinic immediately.
