WHAT DOES MICRONEEDLING DO?
Microneedling uses a device with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These tiny punctures stimulate the body’s natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. As a result, microneedling can improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles and fine lines while enhancing overall skin tone and firmness.
Microneedling can treat:
- Wrinkles and fine lines
- Aging skin
- Enlarged pores
- Acne scars
- Surgical scars
- Stretch marks
- Uneven skin tone
- Hyperpigmentation
- Sun damage
- Rough texture
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MICRONEEDLING?
Increased absorption of skincare products
Microneedling creates microchannels in the skin, allowing topical serums and skincare products to penetrate deeper into the skin, maximizing their effectiveness.
Minimal downtime
Compared to more invasive procedures, microneedling typically involves minimal downtime, with most patients experiencing only mild redness and swelling that subsides within a few days.
Versatility
Microneedling can be performed on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, making it a versatile treatment option for addressing multiple skin concerns.
Safety for all skin types
Microneedling is safe for all skin types and tones, making it an inclusive treatment option for individuals with diverse skin concerns.
Long-lasting results
With a series of treatments spaced over several weeks, microneedling can provide long-lasting results, promoting ongoing collagen production and skin rejuvenation.
Skin health improvement
Microneedling not only addresses specific concerns like wrinkles and scars but also enhances overall skin health by promoting circulation, stimulating cell turnover, and improving skin hydration and texture.
Minimal discomfort
While microneedling involves the use of tiny needles, patients typically experience minimal discomfort during the procedure, thanks to the application of topical numbing cream.
HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT WORK?
Microneedling treatment works by utilizing thin, short needles to create numerous microchannels on the skin’s surface. This process triggers the skin’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen production and leading to improved texture, tone, and overall skin rejuvenation.
