PRP Treatment

Harness Your Body’s Healing Power

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma which are blood cells that contain growth factors that promote tissue regeneration and repair. It is extracted from an individuals own blood and injected into damaged skin to boost cell renewal and healing. PRP is an innovative procedure that first gained popularity in orthopedic and sport medicine and is now recognised as a hair and skin rejuvenation treatment.

At BROWZ, we offer PRP treatments in Dubai to target address hair loss and skin issues. Our expert therapists will harness the PRP in your blood to strengthen your hair follicles or rebalance your skin.

Conditions Treated with PRP Therapy

Hair thinning and androgenic alopecia (genetic hair loss)

PRP therapy helps by delivering growth factors directly into the scalp. These growth factors encourage the hair follicles to stay active and, in many cases, support new hair growth. It’s not an instant fix, but over time, clients often notice stronger, thicker hair in areas that were thinning.

Age-related fine lines and wrinkles, dull or uneven skin tone

PRP treatment works beneath the surface by encouraging the skin to make more collagen and elastin. These are the proteins that keep skin firm and smooth. With regular sessions, many people see a softening of fine lines and a more even, refreshed appearance.

Scarring and acne marks

Scars from acne or injury can take time to fade, and some may feel difficult to treat. PRP treatment helps by supporting the skin’s natural repair process. When injected into scarred areas, it stimulates the formation of new, healthy skin cells.

Sun-damaged skin

PRP can be used to improve areas of sun-damaged skin by boosting cell turnover and improving hydration. PRP treatment helps restore a more balanced tone and texture, particularly in areas such as the face, neck, and chest.

Under-eye darkness and texture loss

PRP treatment is a gentle option for the undereye. It can help improve skin tone, reduce the look of dark circles, and smooth out crepey or thinning skin by improving blood flow and stimulating tissue renewal.

Steps

Initial Consultation

All treatments at BROWZ begin with a complimentary consultation.  We will take this time to understand your unique skin concerns and create a personalised treatment plan. We recommend PRP treatments for clients who want to improve hair growth, or skin tone, texture, and firmness.

Blood Extraction

Blood for PRP treatments is usually extracted from the individual’s arm. To ensure a comfortable session, our trained specialists will cleanse your skin and apply a topical anesthetic on the injection site, then wait around 30 minutes for the numbing to take effect. We will collect around 10-60 millilitres of blood depending on the scope of your treatment.

Obtain PRP

We will place the blood sample in a centrifuge–a machine that spins rapidly to separate fluids of varying densities. In about 10 minutes or so, blood is divided into 3 distinct layers: platelet-rich plasma, platelet-poor plasma, and red blood cells. We will then obtain PRP using a syringe.

Injection of PRP

Our trained specialists inject PRP into targeted or damaged areas of your scalp or skin. To boost the effects, we will use a microneedling tool to ensure PRP is absorbed deep into the skin.

Very professional service and lovely atmosphere. BROWZ team was excellent explaining everything in details and the job they've done with PRP treatment is great! Super happy

Absolutely love their work. They're very professional and nice. They have a high standard of care which is obvious when you first interact with them. I wanted to reduce wrinkles and the PRP treatment did its job!! I'm so happy

Best place ever to treat skin or hair issues! I literally never let anyone touch my face other than browz. They planned a PRP treatment to rejuvenate my skin, I wanted to reduce fine lines. Amazing results!! Thank you 🥰

When I first got there, I was scared, but the team made me feel at ease. The office was clean and felt very warm and friendly. Even though the PRP shots hurt a little, they were worth it after a few weeks because my skin felt firmer and clearer.

The staff were so professional and explained every step in detail. I appreciated the care they took during the consultation and aftercare. I did three PRP sessions for hair, and I’ve already started noticing new baby hairs around my hairline.

Frequently Asked Questions

You may feel a slight discomfort during the PRP injection procedure. At BROWZ, we apply a numbing cream and wait around 30 minutes for it to take effect to eliminate or minimise pain. Depending on your skin sensitivity, it is also normal to experience mild redness or swelling, which will subside in the next 24-72 hours.

While PRP treatment is generally safe, it is not recommended for pregnant women as it involves blood collection and injections. To ensure a healthy pregnancy and the proper development of the baby, we advise you to schedule your consultation and treatment for PRP, whether for hair or skin issues, after the pregnancy and the end of the breastfeeding phase.

The time it takes to see the benefits from PRP treatment varies based on the condition being treated as well as specific factors like skin type and hair growth cycle. Some people may notice improvements in their skin or hair growth after a few weeks, while others may need multiple sessions to experience the effects of the PRP injections.

The number of PRP sessions required for long-term effects will significantly depend on your hair or skin condition and desired results. At BROWZ, we create a bespoke PRP treatment plan for each client to guarantee its effectiveness.

PRP has little to no side effects since it is extracted from your own blood. In some cases, there may be slight swelling, bruising, or tenderness surrounding the injection site, but it normally subsides within 24-72 hours. At BROWZ, we take the necessary precautions during the free initial consultation. We ensure your suitability for PRP treatments and address any concerns you may have.

PRP therapy is mainly used to support hair regrowth and skin rejuvenation. It can help slow hair thinning, stimulate hair follicles, and enhance the appearance and texture of the skin. People often choose PRP to reduce signs of ageing, improve acne scars, or restore volume and tone. It works by using your body’s own platelets to boost natural repair.

The price of PRP treatment in Dubai can range from AED 800 to AED 2,500. It’s best to schedule a consultation to determine the exact cost tailored to your specific needs.

Yes, PRP therapy can support hair regrowth, especially in people with early-stage hair loss or thinning. It doesn’t work the same for everyone, but it often helps by stimulating the hair roots and improving blood flow to the scalp.

Results from PRP treatment are not permanent, but they can last for several months to a year. For hair, you may need 3 to 6 sessions, followed by maintenance sessions every few months. For skin, many people repeat treatments every 6 to 12 months, depending on their goals and how their skin responds. A regular treatment plan can help maintain stable results.
