Set Your Lash Curler Aside For Good With The Help Of Lash Lifts

thumbnail preview

Lash curlers, as the name suggests, are used to curl the lashes and make them appear more prominent. However, there are easy, semi-permanent alternatives, which give you beautiful lashes without the downside of lash curlers.

What Is A Lash Lift?

The traditional lash lift uses growth serums to improve the length of your natural lashes. The revolutionary lash lift at our eyebrow clinic focuses on using an in-house lifting serum to give you lengthy, voluminous lashes.

During a lash lift, the lifting serum is applied to each lash, and a bespoke treatment is provided for maximum results. After the lifting serum is applied, the lashes are tinted and moisturized to provide you with perfectly conditioned lashes. The best part of a lash lift is that, unlike the usual lash extensions and lash curler, there is no glue used, no harsh chemicals, and no breakage as a result of heated tools. Instead, each hair is lengthened, volumized, and lifted.

Procedure

Following are the steps involved in a lash lift:

  • The therapist will initially straighten the lashes from the roots, and this allows your lashes to reach their greatest length and volume.
  • The process usually takes about 45 minutes, but this again depends on the length of the lash hair. It takes more time for those with thick eyelashes as the therapist has to attend to each lash.
  • The customized serum lifts the lashes from the roots and pushes them forward, which makes the lash appear lengthier and thicker. You can also choose the degree of lift.

Aftercare

Unlike other treatments, this procedure does not have a lot of aftercare you have to follow. However, there are some basic instructions to ensure that your lashes are in good shape. Be gentle with your lashes post-treatment, and stay away from water, steam rooms, saunas, and swimming for at least 24 hours after the lash lift. Also, keep in mind to avoid any kind of eye makeup for a day after the procedure.

Lash Lifts Vs. Lash Curlers

Lash lift treatments use lifting serums to lift the natural lash hair. The effects of the treatment last for a longer period and do not use harsh chemicals or heating tools to achieve the result. Instead, you are provided with enhanced lashes that give you a fresh, youthful look. The treatment lasts between 6 to 8 weeks, and it is low maintenance, meaning that you do not have to follow up with rigorous aftercare.

Lash curlers, when not heated, can damage the eyelashes and even cause them to fall off. If applied incorrectly, you may end up pinching your eyelids and harming your lashes. Heated lash curlers are more damaging and can burn the skin around the lashes if not used correctly. Heated lash curlers can damage the lash hair over time, and if applied on top of mascara, it can cause the eyelashes to become brittle and fall off.

Protect the health of your lash hair, because if it becomes damaged, it becomes harder to perform any treatment to enhance the lashes. We have a team of professionals at BROWZ who can offer customized treatment for youthful eyes and lengthy, voluminous lashes.
